A "HA!" performance, after going for more than two decades, still evades easy description, simply because live and active creativity lies at the core of it. TheHA!Man (Francois le Roux, South Africa) is a classically trained cellist and pianist who has taken the long road to hone an art of spontaneous music making that sweeps an audience through the history of music, through different traditions and most importantly, through different regions of the heart. No performance is pre-planned, but draws from a pool of original electronic accompaniments.  Added to this is the word art of Belgian writer and actress Joke Debaere as she cuts into direct experiences of life and being human.  The flow of each performance becomes a creation in itself, leaving the many audiences over the years and continents awash with feelings and things to think about.

This concert is supported by The Worship and The Arts Team at St. John's United Church as part of our intentional outreach and support of Arts in The Sunshine Coast community.

There will be refreshments served at intermission.
