We are pleased to announce that Rev. Eva Biederman will be joining St. John’s Sunshine Coast United Church as our new minister, beginning in October 2026. Eva started her journey into ministry as a Sunday school teacher and youth group leader. After completing a bachelor’s degree, her call to ordained ministry led her to theological education at St. Andrew's College in Saskatoon where she received a Master of Divinity degree. After serving communities of faith in northern and central Alberta, she is happy to be closer to family in B.C. again. In her spare time, Rev. Eva enjoys skimming through cookbooks, being with family, and exploring a new hobby of English paper piecing.
