With her keen sense of justice, her love of children, and her gifts of pastoral care, we were thrilled to officially welcome Rev. Jamie Bushell as our new minister on Oct. 20th. During the covenanting service we exchanged vows of commitment and support, presented symbolic gifts of welcome and were challenged by the message from Rev. Debra Bowman.
Jamie continues to be inspired by the welcome of the community and the beauty of the Coast. Says Jamie, "Each day provides an opportunity to make new connections and hear the stories of this remarkable place. This is a uniquely gifted and giving congregation, rooted in faith and service. I feel very fortunate to share in ministry with St. John's Sunshine Coast."
