A loaf of sandwiches, some fruit, carrot sticks and celery and you have a lunch for hungry students. Since September we have been providing lunch on Mondays for our neighbouring elementary school. This has been a simple but meaningful outreach for our congregation. The parent teacher association at the school recently stated, “I just wanted to let you know, and St. John’s, how much we all appreciate your work for the Davis Bay Sandwich program. It is going so well, and VERY well received. The kids are eating everything up!” Thanks to all who are participating.
