The UCW group at St. John's United Church meets the first Tuesday of the month from 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the church hall. The meetings begin with a short devotional and business agenda after which the women enjoy their lunches together. At about noon the focus turns to an organized program of speakers from the community or from our own congregation. We fill and decorate jars of dry soup mix for sharing with needy people of the community. We support First United, Arrowhead, CanaDares, the Food Bank, Better at Home and Hospice among others through financial donations. Our meetings are always open to new participants and offer the opportunity for fellowship as well as a way to support the work of the church. Please bring your lunch and join us.
