Lenten Soup & Study, Thursdays, 5-7pm, February 15-March 22, in the lower hall at St. John's.
In this Lenten devotional, the words of scripture and the poetry of Mary Oliver will be our guides. Each week, biblical texts and Oliver’s poems illumine each other, pointing toward simple, powerful practices you can try yourself. Pick up your copy of the devotional study on the table in the Narthex. Rev. Alan Claassen will be our travel guide through this wilderness study known as “Lent,” the time of the year when the days “lengthen” as we approach Spring & Easter.
